<P><STRONG>With this event <STRONG>on behalf of <A HREF="https://www.alzheimer-nederland.nl" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Alzheimer Nederland</A> and <STRONG>in collaboration with <A HREF="https://www.mauritshuis.nl/nl-nl/bezoek/activiteiten/onvergetelijk-mauritshuis/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mauritshuis Den Haag</A> </STRONG></STRONG>we want to enable people suffering from Alzheimer's and their loved ones to join a special "onvergetelijk" art tour in the Mauritshuis. </STRONG>Research shows these tours have a positive influence on health: participants feel happier after an "Unforgettable" tour and have the idea to count again. This increases their self-confidence and sense of dignity.</P>

<H2>But will we never forget?</H2>
<P>Dementia is according to CBS (Statistics Netherlands) the number one cause of death in the Netherlands. The most common form of dementia is Alzheimer’s. Chances are you have a loved one who is suffering from this cognitive disease or a friend who is supporting their loved ones through this. Dealing with memory loss and supporting loved ones is an emotional endeavor that often leads to isolation and loneliness. As a club, we have seen this first hand and want to do as much as we can to raise awareness about this disease. <SPAN>Our main purpose is to enable communication through art between people suffering from Alzheimer's and their loved ones.</SPAN></P>
