About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour
Join Athletes Corner for another session focusing on stability to mobility and everything in between in this 60-minute session designed to help you integrate strength training into your running routine.
Led by Gabriella—a Licensed Physiotherapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and in partnership with Recover Run Club —this full-body, run-specific workout will teach you practical exercises you can replicate on your own. You’ll learn how to boost your running performance, build strength, and lower your risk of injury. Whether you're a seasononed elite or recreational runner in this workshop you'll discover how adding targeted strength training can help you stay strong, run smarter, and achieve your running goals.
Session Timeline:
- Introductions: 5 Minutes
- Warm Up(Runner Stability): 10 Minutes
- Compound lifts, Runner Accessory Exercises & Core Finisher: 35 Minutes
- Cool Down (Runner Mobility): 10 Minutes

First come, first serve when it comes to the goodies! Also with the support of Lululemon Europe you'll be able to get some new gear that'll get you running and training in the most comfortable way!
This is an outdoor event located in Westerpark in the open field across from Fabrique Des Lumieres, in the case that the weather doesn't cooperate with us, the workshop will be pushed to a later date and we'll make contact with all of those who've signed up for the event.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, the workout is designed for EVERYONE, if you are limited in any exercise, our physio and strength coach, Gabriella will be able to quickly modify the exercise to fit your needs!
No, all exercises will be performed with body weight, or a resistance band (which will be provided by Athletes Corner - a gift you can take home).
In the event that it rains we'll be sure to reschedule our workshop and we'll notify you 2 hours before the event if not the evening before.
There may be some exercises where you'll be on the ground for a short amount of time so if you have a yoga mat you may want to bring but it's not essential. We will be doing a workout with an optional run after, so we recommend you come dressed to workout.
Yes, although some exercises may be similar there will also be the addition of new exercises targeting new muscle function in this session.
