About this workshop: As an expat in Germany, having the right insurance coverage is critical. Misunderstanding your insurance needs can lead to gaps in coverage and unexpected financial burdens. Join this workshop hosted by Expatriate Insurance Consulting (EIC) for straightforward guidance on some critical areas of insurance that every expat – whether employed or self-employed – should consider to safeguard their lives: income, property, and liability insurance.
In the first half of this workshop, EIC will explain how your income is protected by the social security system in Germany, and why you might consider taking out a policy like disability insurance to better protect yourself should you become unable to work due to illness or accident. Then they’ll look at property, personal belongings and liability insurance, clarifying the mandatory requirements for homeowners and renters, recommending some additional protection, and providing tips on navigating insurance matters in English.
EIC is a seasoned insurance brokerage company that specialises in international social security and health insurance. With a commitment to providing tailor-made insurance solutions, EIC is dedicated to helping newcomers and established expats alike find the right coverage for their unique needs in Germany and beyond.
