This session will focus on the paradigm shift from the traditional car-oriented city towards a cycle focused city offering priority to slow traffic while enhancing space for social interaction and ecosystems.Register here for the free of charge moderated seminar session, the first in a series of four organised with Visiting Professor Florian Boer. The session is open for all students of the BK faculty (bachelor and master) as well as staff of the faculty of Architecture and the Built environment as long as we can offer availability. The session will be interactive with the audience, Florian, and the experts. The seminar series will be moderated by Reinout Kleinhans.The theme for this series is Designing Sponge Cities. Every seminar session will have a dedicated focus within Designing Sponge Cities.The session will start with a shared small vegetarian supper. Unfortunately, we cannot take other dietary request into consideration.
