SensUs Parkinson's Fund Run

Join the SensUs Parkinson’s Fund Run 2026 and help raise awareness for Parkinson's Disease!

SensUs is a student team at TU Eindhoven that brings together students from around the world through our annual international biosensor competition. Each year, we challenge young innovators to develop innovative technologies that address urgent healthcare needs.

This year, our focus is on continuous levodopa monitoring for Parkinson’s disease: a challenge where technology has the potential to truly improve lives.

But innovation alone is not enough.

For technology to create real impact, it must connect with society and the people who need it most. That is why, during Parkinson’s Awareness Month, we are organizing the Parkinson’s Fund Run on Wednesday, 29 April 2026, on the TU/e campus.

Together with Parkinson2Beat, ParkinsonNL, TU/e Innovation Space, and SSC Eindhoven, we invite students, staff, and supporters to join us for a meaningful evening of awareness and community.

Participants can choose to run or walk a 3 km route through and around campus, with the option to complete multiple laps.

Whether you run, walk, or donate, your participation helps raise awareness for Parkinson’s disease and supports people affected by it.

Participation fees:

€10, €20, or €50 - choose the amount you are able to contribute.

All proceeds will be donated to ParkinsonNL.

Starting from 17:00, participants who would like to use changing rooms or store personal items, will be able to do so at the Student Sports Centre. Also, at the same place and time participants will be able to show their tickets and collect their running numbers (bibs).
