This is session #3 of a series of 5 sessions. Theme will be about "Feeling at Home Socially". We will talk about the Dutch social norms while learning more about various other cultures present in the room. We will also do some fun role plays to increase our cultural awareness. In the last series we had people from more than 20 nationalities join us! Please bring your Dutch friends along as they are also key to making us all feel at home. You will leave the session humbled about your own cultural awareness and a sense of curiosity about the rich social context we all live in.
Being a foreigner in the Netherlands can sometimes feel a lot to cope with, be it the weather, the language, distance from family, difficulty in finding the right work, feeling socially isolated etc. Regardless of whether you're a newcomer or have been around for a few years, you would love to feel more at Home in the Netherlands. Through this series of practical and fun workshops on "Feeling at Home in the Netherlands", Shashi Kejriwal will take you on a journey of self discovery and connection with yourself and the community around you, which will help you feel more at home within yourself (always the starting point) and in the Netherlands.

Over the past 10 years, he has had to juggle several balls such as family, career, fulfilment, health, etc., and some balls have had to fall to keep some in play. Through this series of workshops, he is looking forward to sharing his own experience and practical frameworks that he has learnt as a Business Strategist and a Coach/Facilitator. Shashi also has experience living and working in different parts of the world, including India, US and Latin America.
