About this event

This is session #5 (last session) of a series of 5 sessions. Theme will be about "Feeling at home with Dutch Language". We will talk about envisioning you 3.0 through a deep meditation, importance of and fun ways to learn the Dutch language and how you can deepen your roots within Netherlands through inside out authentic community engagement. You will leave the session with a renewed vigor to deepen your roots within your community leveraging the Dutch language as a tool in fun and engaging ways.

Being a foreigner in the Netherlands can sometimes feel a lot to cope with, be it the weather, the language, distance from family, difficulty in finding the right work, feeling socially isolated etc. Regardless of whether you're a newcomer or have been around for a few years, you would love to feel more at Home in the Netherlands. Through this series of practical and fun workshops on "Feeling at Home in the Netherlands", Shashi Kejriwal will take you on a journey of self discovery and connection with yourself and the community around you, which will help you feel more at home within yourself (always the starting point) and in the Netherlands.

The series is scheduled at follows (730pm-9:15pm CET all days):

  1. Session 1: Feeling at Home "with Change" (10th Sept)
  2. Session 2: Feeling at Home "within Yourself" (17th Sept)
  3. Session 3: Feeling at Home "Socially" (24th Sept)
  4. Session 4: Feeling at Home "Professionally" (1st Oct)
  5. Session 5: Feeling at Home "with Dutch Language" (8th Oct)

Shashi has been living in the Netherlands since 2015. Over the past 10 years, he has had to juggle several balls such as family, career, fulfilment, health, etc., and some balls have had to fall to keep some in play. Through this series of workshops, he is looking forward to sharing his own experience and practical frameworks that he has learnt as a Business Strategist and a Coach/Facilitator. Shashi also has experience living and working in different parts of the world, including India, US and Latin America.
