Shavuot & Pentecost:  A Supernatural Day of God’s Love and Gifts

The Biblical holiday of Shavuot is the second of the three Biblical harvest feasts. It was celebrated widely during Old Testament and New Testament times and is still celebrated in Israel and among the Jewish people today. It is on Shavuot (the 50th day-Pentecost) that the Holy Spirit came down from heaven in Jerusalem on the disciples of Yeshua. Originally Shavuot and Pentecost were celebrated on the same day. However, today Jews and Christians celebrate it on a different day because in the 4th century AD the Roman Emperor Constantine separated the lunar and solar calendars. It is on this day that we celebrate Gods love for his bride and he brings supernatural gifts. On this dat God gave the ten commandments to Israel on top of Mount Sinai as a covenant. It is on the exact same day that God gave the Holy Spirit to the disciples of Jesus on Mount Zion and wrote the covenant in our hearts. Both were supernatural events that took place under an open heaven.

In this lecture Jennifer Guetta, will reveal the history of Shavuot and Pentecost and show how they are related, and what this means for you.
