Discover the hotspots of Sittard
During this walk, several (historical) hotspots are visited with their accompanying stories. These can be buildings, such as churches/monasteries, but also (secret) gardens, fortifications, and more. In between, practical tips are given, allowing you to learn more about what Sittard has to offer.
The walk is not always the same and can be adjusted each time due to weather conditions or other activities in the city. Additionally, each walk takes into account the participants' preferences and places they have previously visited. Sometimes, themed walks are organized, such as a walk in August in honor of Sittard's city patron St. Rosa. By participating multiple times, you can get a comprehensive view of your new living or working environment.
The walk starts exactly at 2:00 PM at the Jardin d’Isabelle, located on the Kerkepad, and lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
