Meer dan ooit is er een groeiende behoefte aan een sterke en op vertrouwen gebaseerde relatie tussen overheid en burgers. GovTech NL streeft ernaar om alle partijen samen te brengen in een dynamische samenwerking om precies die relatie te stimuleren. Voor overheden, start-ups, academici en anderen die onze doelen delen. Door het gebruik van technologie, door het bevorderen van burgerparticipatie en door een focus te leggen op sociale innovatie als hulpmiddel. We willen de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten, systemen en concepten versnellen voor een heldere en positieve interactie in de publieke sector. Om daar te komen willen we het goede voorbeeld geven, mensen die onze passie delen, samenbrengen en zo de beste gemeenschap voor overheidsinnovatie opbouwen. <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/tayra-algera/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tayra Algera</a> is a Policy Officer Digital Economy at <a href="https://www.zuid-holland.nl/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Provincie Zuid-Holland</a> and has been working at the province for nearly three years. As a Policy Officer for the Digital Economy, she assesses the effects of digitalisation on South Holland's economy. South Holland is recognised as one of the most pioneering regions in the Netherlands. However, she acknowledges that continuous innovation is vital to sustain and enhance this standing. The province of South Holland is actively promoting the digital transition, aiming to provide inclusive opportunities for all residents, businesses, and regions to engage in this process.

<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/hidde-kamst-3a8346195/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hidde Kamst</a> is an Advisor Digital Innovation &amp; Smart City at <a href="https://www.denhaag.nl/en.htm" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gemeente Den Haag</a>. Having a background in philosophy of technology, Hidde has dedicated his recent years to studying and working on societal aspects related to smart cities. Currently, he serves as an advisor within The Hague's Smart City team, focusing on matters of participation, ethics, and the relationship between nature and the environment.

Over the past six years, he's made significant contributions to youth participation. His unique background spans the private, public, cultural, and non-profit sectors, providing him with a broad perspective he uses to drive results. Shankar is passionate about strategy, governance, and most importantly, contributing to society. In his presentation you will hear about Waterlab voor de Toekomst (Waterlab for the Future).A citizen-led, predominantly youth-driven foundation in The Hague that fosters collaboration, experimentation, and dialogue in order to generate bottom-up, local solutions to climate change.

With a background in climate change policy and environmental science, she has always focused on the interdisciplinary approach to solving societal challenges. In her presentation, she will share more about the partnership with GovTech NL and how together we aim to grow this important community.
