I am coming by car, is there parking at the venue?

There's a couple of parking garages nearby. Check out Google Maps to see which one suits you best!  It's not possible to park on the street, the theater is located on a pedestrian only area.

My friend/wife/husband/tinder date told me I'm funny. Can I still enter this competition?

How does TUNA work?

The comics in this lineup have come far. To compete in BIG FISH, they had to win two rounds: TUNA: First Swim, where the audience picks favorites, and TUNA: Newbie of the Month, decided 50% by audience and 50% by local comedy pros. From 160 entrants, these 10 are the very best!

What does TUNA stand for?

Tiny Underground Newbie Award. It is a name that was invented by the organiser That Comedy Thing whilst standing in his kitchen holding a beer, and not their first one that night either. Truth is we had a poster with a fish on it, and needed some words to make the acronym work.

Why 'Big Fish'?

Small fish doesn't make sense for a big show.

You know the animal on the poster is a mamal, not a fish, right?

We do, and we don't care but we're also not mad at your for pointing it out

I want to bring my kids, is that ok?

Accepted Answer

Comedy shows generally aren’t ideal for kids under 16. Younger children—unless they’re big comedy fans—may struggle to stay engaged, and some topics might be unsuitable for certain ages. Ultimately, you’re the parent, so the choice is yours!
