Flowers/Ghosts&Echoes is an audio-visual trio originating in Den Haag, consisting of two electric guitars and live visuals. The improvising guitar duo of Gonçalo Oliveira and James A.-McEwan explores a slow-moving instrumental landscape of drones and post-rock ambience, featuring elements of guitar experimentalism, noise music and post minimalism. Their sonic world interacts with and responds to the performative visuals of designer and visual artist Felix Bodin. Using his self-designed visual instrument, consisting of projections reverberated through the performance space with the use of a malleable mirrored surface, Bodin’s setup spreads, distorts or focuses digitally generated patterns into unique and dazzling light and projections. Sometimes delicate and serene, other times erratic and unpredictable.

Arvind Ganga is a guitar player from Den Haag, fascinated by the physicality of the guitar and the wide range of sounds it produces when any of its parts are played with objects, magnetic fields, or bare hands using improper techniques. His music is raw and direct, continually crossing the border between music and abstract sound, and between abrasive and delicate. He expresses his current interest in meditation and consciousness by combining guitar with field recordings and simple diy immersive setups, searching for how nature and the world around us connect to our human experiences.
