She touches upon invisible colonial impacts, dissecting mundane moments to reveal their multi-layered meanings. Giving new value to seemingly insignificant details, like a grocery list or a forgotten note in our pocket, Rigaud searches for experimental ways to approach and engage with language as a way to unearth new knowledge. To slowly change the expectations and norms around the use of language, reframing the heteronormative, ableist, racist, colonial powers that hold language in their grip today.Unfolding an everyday experience, from sound to sentence.
