We've invited astrophysicist Liam Pieters to give an audio-visual lecture about space, where he'll show and explain famous movie scenes!

Are you a science-fiction fan and did you love movies like Interstellar, Gravity and The Martian? Would you like to know more about the universe, planets and common sci-fi movie themes such as black holes, relativity theory and the speed of time? Then this is the event for you:We've invited astrophysicist Liam Pieters to give a cinematic, space-themed lecture at our studio! During this special event, Liam will show several well-known scenes from Hollywood's biggest sci-fi movies while explaining some of the most mind-boggling scientific phenomena that occur throughout our galaxy.Liam Pieters finished a double MSc in Cosmology and Aerospace Engineering, and is about to start his PhD research on Space Debris Removal. He was an intern at the European Space Agency and now regularly gives interactive space-workshops at schools all across the Netherlands!
