Mindfulness with Stamily

About this event

Event for Stamily members only:

Mindfulness can be used as a tool to bring your attention to the present moment without judgment. As a person who stutters, you can benefit from mindfulness to learn to be better able to calm the mind from racing thoughts.

To see if this is something for you, we invited Michael Sugarman to guide us during this session through a mindfulness and a short Dharma talk on radical acceptance, related to stuttering. Michael Sugarman is the best person for this, as he has a lot of experience in this field.

Note that this is not a therapy but just a practice and experience for those interested.

If we have time left after the exercise, we will do some speed friending, to hangout, chat, and get to know each other.
