About this event

Stitches of Cultural Threads has been postponed due to COVID-19. A new afterwork gathering will happen on Thursday 2 december from 17:30h to 20:00 (Doors open at 17h).

Participants will learn over alternative materials and textile innovation, to create a positive sociocultural impact and increase awareness to renew ties with nature.

Your admission ticket includes all materials to sew a collective artwork (with fabric leftovers), a welcome drink*, live music, and the chance to win unique surprises by women artists and textile designers in the Netherlands, and around the world.

PLUS, the final collective textile work will be part of the art video installation as the conclusion of the artist's Baltan Residency.

This is an intergenerational event. All ages are welcome.

The admission fee of 7,50 euros pp, (students 5,00) will also help to finance post-production costs.
