Event Description:

Atelier Bogoria is a dream taking shape:A space where African books, art, coffee, and wine come together.A place to slow down, connect, open your senses, embrace complexity and experience stories that shift your perspective.A celebration of African creativity, craftsmanship, and the richness of its soils and stories.

At this first edition of Stories & Soils, you’ll get a taste of what that world feels like.

What to Expect:

Tasting of vibrant African coffees – a sensory journey with the farmers in the spotlight.🥗 Light lunch – to refresh and reset your palate.

📚 The Book Corner – interactive exploration of African stories, including bookmatching to help you find a story that speaks to you.

🍷 Tasting of South African wines – from Chenins to Grenaches, told through the lens of land, craft, and connection.

🐘 And maybe... an elephant or two. (They’ll be friendly.)

Who is this for?

If you’re curious, open-minded, and up for something different. You don’t have to be a coffee geek, a wine snob, or a bookworm. You’re welcome even if you once thought Africa was a country. This is about wonder, not expertise.

About Atelier Bogoria

Atelier Bogoria came to life in my mind during my years living in South Africa and Kenya.Experiencing different cultures and living close to vineyards and coffee farms shifted my perspective. The creativity inspired me. The pace of life made me feel at home — pole pole. The stories made me reflect on how life is and how it might be lived. Nature brought a deep sense of freedom and connection. The winemakers and coffee farmers showed me what’s possible when craft, care, and nature are in harmony. Now back in the Netherlands, I’d love to share this with you.
