A new edition of Stories & Soils at Thrive Coffee House. Stories and sounds of the Yoruba shared by Pelumi Adejumo with soulful wines.
Join us for a the next edition of Atelier Bogoria’s Stories & Soils at Thrive Coffee House, The Hague.
A celebration of African creativity, craftsmanship, and the richness of its soils and stories.
In this edition, Pelumi Adejumo - artist & writer - will share stories of the Yoruba culture with its rich oral traditions. Pelumi will take us into the tradition of Oríkì, the oral praise poetry of the Yórùbá, that serves as both a celebration of life and death and holds the key to the unique recipe that shapes an individual’s life.
A poetic and sonic experience that invites you to slow down and connect.
And don't worry, we won't be doing this with a dry mouth. As usual, some soulful South African wines will be poured to pair the evening.
