The past year has obliged us to spend most of our time indoors. Endless online meetings. Numerous videocalls with family & friends to stay connected. Binge-watching series to get distracted. This has taken a toll on all of us!

That's why TINT is organising again a SUP Coaching Workshop to give a break from all of that and reconnect with yourself in the middle of nature.

SUP Coach Paula will take into the TU/e Dommel a group of 6 people max. that must be under 26 years old according to the last Corona rules.

The session starts with a set of instructions, then the group gets on the water (not in!) with a SUP board and after finding the physical balance with the standup paddling technique the participants are invited to also find the mental balance with mindfulness exercises.

For the Dutch Happiness Week, TINT & SUP Coach Paula are providing 1 session on March 20th starting at 11:00 with a duration between 1:30-2:00.

Safety is very important, that is why TINT requires everyone who signs up to be ABLE TO SWIM. It is unlikely to fall in the water but better safe than sorry!

March can be tricky weather-wise. We all hope for a beautiful spring-like day but to manage expectations, TINT would like to inform the participants in advance:

• SUP Coach Paula reserves the right to cancel the workshop in case of adverse unsafe weather with full-ticket reimbursement.
• Dress in layers so you can adapt to all temperatures (e.g. light layer + thermo layer or a wetsuit)
• Bring water shoes or shoes you don't mind getting dirty in case you get muddy going on/off the SUP board. Barefoot is not advisable due to the cold water.
• Preferably bring a change of clothes in case you get wet or dirty.

The DHW is an initiative founded by Parktheater Eindhoven & Fontys that aims to raise awareness and promote happiness by collaborating with several partners and projects for a week full of inspiring activities.
