FILLERS
- Barbacoa: A stew made from beef boiled for several hours until gelatinous and extremely tender.
- Carne Asada: A grilled and diced beef seasoned with salt, love, and patience, a very popular and traditional way of cooking meat in our hometown Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua (The north of Mexico). *Most Popular
- Carnitas: It literally means "little meats" and is made by braising or simmering pork in oil until tender. *Upon availability
- Chicharron Prensado: Small pieces of pressed pork cracklings that are parboiled in a home-recipe salsa.
- Chile Relleno: Green chile pepper stuffed with cheese and coated with eggs served with refried beans. *Vegetarian/ Upon availability.
- Champiñon: Mushrooms in homemade adobo - a marinade made from dried chiles, spices, and vinegar, served with melted cheese in a corn taco. *Vegetarian
Tacoteca is an authentic Mexican “Taqueria” founded and operated in Amsterdam by Taquero Pablo Saavedra from Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua (North of Mexico). The concept breaks from the more traditional and stereotypical idea of Mexican food and culture. Tacoteca was born from the play on words “Discoteca” and “Taco”. We just mixed the words up and that’s how Tacoteca was born. It's the beautiful combination of good music and a good time (called “cotorreo”), while enjoying sexy and flavorful tacos and other delicious dishes (often called “garnacha”).

We invite all people, dogs and turtles from all backgrounds, beliefs, orientations, tastes, colors and flavors to try our delicious and very authentic Mexican tacos. We always try to respect our roots and to do our best to bring real Mexican Tacos to our lovely Amsterdam.
