About the Book
Hot Milk follows Sofia and her mother, Rose, to Almería, Spain, where they search for a cure to Rose's mysterious illness. As Sofia navigates the weight of caregiving and her own stalled life, she’s drawn to the freedom and chaos embodied by a tourist named Ingrid. Set against the sweltering heat of the Spanish coast, the novel explores desire, power, and identity in complex, beautiful prose.
