TEDx Salon - Finding Balance Again
Most of us have learned to push through — until we can't.
Most of us have learned to push through — until we can't.
In this session, Suze Maclaine Pont takes you beneath the surface of stress and exhaustion to explore what's actually happening in your body and nervous system. Whether you work in a helping profession, have experienced burnout yourself, or simply recognise the feeling of running on empty, this is an invitation to understand yourself differently — and to find a way forward that doesn't require more willpower. Through reflection, a practical exercise, and honest conversation, you'll leave with a new lens on why you feel the way you do — and what becomes possible when you stop trying to fix it.
Meet our speaker:
Suze Maclaine Pont is a trauma therapist, teacher, and speaker with more than twenty years of experience working at the intersection of trauma, theology, and nervous system regulation. She is the creator of the Integrative Trauma Therapy Certification, a two‑year professional training for therapists, doctors, and coaches who want to deepen their capacity to work safely and sustainably. Through her teaching, writing, and podcasts, she brings a rare combination of clinical depth, spiritual insight, and embodied presence to the field of healing.
This event is 2 hours + drink/networking.
