Discover new comedy talent in Amsterdam Oost! In this Pay What You Can show we guarantee a good night out whilst enjoying some of the most exciting upcoming names in comedy.

Leaving a donation means paying your local comedians: donations will directly go to the performers.

There are a limited amount of free community tickets available for people on a low budget, book them in advance! If you have a budget, we would really appreciate a donation since this is our job :)

The Venue:

The coolest basement in Amsterdam is located below Generator Hostel in Oosterpark. 'Oosterbar' is a night club on the weekend, but on Thursdays it's That Comedy Thing's own Comedy Club!

The Vibes:

Different lineups every week. 5 to 10 comedians doing short sets. Sometimes it's famous comedians trying new jokes, sometimes it's new comics trying out comedy for the first time. We are all about underground comedy. It's fun, it's casual it's low key and cosy.

That Comedy Thing is a comedy organizer in Amsterdam. We are one of the longest running shows in the city and have seen most of your favorite comedians take their first steps in Stand-up Comedy on one of our stages.
