The Venue:

Café de Buurvrouw is a night life legend for many Amsterdammers. It's where you end up when your horeca shift is over, or where you first kissed your current husband or wife. It's got history, it's got vibes, it's quirky and unique. It's hard to not like de Buurvrouw!

The Vibes:

Different lineups every week. 8 comedians doing short 5 minute sets. Sometimes it's local legends trying new jokes, sometimes it's new comics trying out comedy for the first time. We are all about underground comedy. It's fun, it's casual it's low key and cosy.

That Comedy Thing is a comedy organizer in Amsterdam. We are one of the longest running shows in the city and have seen most of your favorite comedians take their first steps in Stand-up Comedy on one of our stages.
