When the war breaks out Willem immediataly goes into the underground movement. He falsifies papers and in 1943 plans the attack on the registry office in Amsterdam. He and his friends are betrayed and he is executed on the 1st of July 1943.Henk tells the amazing story of Willem on the 1st July 2022 on the homo monument.
