The Berlage is pleased to host its end-of-year film screening at KINO in Rotterdam, presenting a trilogy of documentaries developed through its long-running Project Global course, currently investigating how logistics shape the built environment along the Trans-European Transport Network. The screening will feature Moving Milk & Timber (2023), which follows the supply chains of Estonia’s most profitable exports—fresh milk and prefabricated wooden houses; Pressed & Polished (2024), which traces the transformation of two natural resources in Greece—olives into soap and marble into gravestones; and Punching & Canning (2025), which captures a day in two Portuguese factories producing cork stoppers and canned sardines. The evening will conclude with a discussion featuring the films’ directors and editors, alongside Salomon Frausto, Juan Benavides, and invited guests.
