Welcome to The Future is Heritage Online Programme 2020!

In light of the current situation in the world, we find it is not responsible for inviting you to join us in person. However, we want to stay in touch with you in the meantime. In this online series, we will dive into several themes that will be central topics in the upcoming main event of The Future is Heritage! Each month, one of the themes of the upcoming main event will be introduced and discussed in an online session. This will be done by shortly looking into a case study from a European country. We invite you to join us during the online sessions to give your opinions about &amp; experiences with the topics and to share your ideas about the theme. In this way, we cannot only have great conversations about heritage far away from each other, but we can also gather your valuable input for making the programme even better for the upcoming main event!In session 4 we talk about the theme &#x27;Heritage &amp; Repurposing&#x27;. What is repurposing? What role can heritage play in repurposing? And how? To discuss this session&#x27;s theme and trying to answer these questions, we dive into a case study from Ireland: Nano Nagle Place in the city of Cork in Southern Ireland. While we will be focussing on this case study, we are aiming for an international approach to the theme.Registration for this event is obligatory.
