The Human-Tech Balance: An Artful Workshop for Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs deserve space to create together. Let’s leave work early, share tools and experiences, and at times set our devices aside, while we explore how to balance our humanity with technology during art projects together.

At the same time, AI and other digital tools are reshaping how we work. Alongside our hands-on, screen-free art activities, we’ll also hold space for participants to share their own digital tools, workflows, and AI best practices we each other, a human-tech connection so to speak. Together, we’ll examine both sides—our embodied creativity and our technological efficiency, and the wellenss behind offline and online practices.

What does a balanced entrepreneurship looks like for each of us?

Key Activities:

• Offline Creation: Hands-on art-making to reconnect with tactile, human-centric creativity.
• Ethical Discussion: A guided conversation on maintaining balance and perspective in the AI age.
• Tool-Sharing: A dedicated segment for sharing practical tips and ethical strategies for using AI tools and integrations.
• Community Connection: Networking with like-minded entrepreneurs exploring the same challenges.

Location: The glass-walled, fish-bowl meeting room at Café Labs - TU Delft.

About Sevgül (she/her), Illustrator, Graphic Designer, & Fine Arts Guru, your creative co-host and founder of Evil Strawberry Illustration & Design. Creative activities will be led by co-host, graphic designer and illustrator Sevgül Sümer Dielemans of Evil Strawberry Illustration & Design. Sevgül is an organizer and facilitator for a phenomenal international drawing group, where she brings a warm, welcoming community space for all. She has mentored designers, and she has taught people how to become fabulous painters. Her free time is fiercely coveted to enjoy nature for inspiration, as well as time with her husband and two cats. Some of Sevgül's current hot projects are illustration for (top secret) and creating a graphic novel about (also top secret). About Justin (he/him), artist, events specialist, coach/motivational speaker, your co-host and founder of Disruptive Cheerleader Productions. His passion is creating intimate, safe spaces for connection and authentic conversation, partnering with other entrepreneurs to provide creative activities and growth. A recent immigrant from the U.S. with a background spanning the arts, corporate recruiting, and veterinary medicine, his purpose is to motivate others and challenge norms. He believes what each person creates is unique and irreplaceable.
