This exhibition is to showcase Song Dynasty’s rich cultural inheritance and continuation of the spirit of the Song style. The exhibition is composed of four sections: "A Roll of Song Painting · Looking Back a Thousand Years", “Hundreds of Trades in the World · Seeking Fun in Ink Painting”, "Colorful and Glamorous · Charming in Four Seasons", "Poetry Created with Brushes and Ink · Embodying Feelings in Mountains and Rivers", manifesting Song people's thought that man is an integral part of nature, i.e. lodging emotions on mountains and rivers, and presenting Song scholars' technique in drawing lifelike paintings based careful observation and the unique cultural features of the Song Dynasty.
