The Power of Connection: Philosophy Salon
No tree can survive in a forest alone. Sometimes, survival becomes the sole goal for our lives. Our focus and effort shift to just getting through the day. In times like these, we can lean on existing bonds - family, friends, pets, and home. But we know that survival is not our ultimate goal. We aren't meant to spin endlessly in the survival wheel. Connection can get us out of the trap: we can connect to flourish. But how do we do that? In this Philosophy Salon, we will look at different bonds we form as biological organisms but also as souls and minds. What is their role? What power do they give to a collective? And how can that power move us from survival to flourishing?
