Possibilities of machine learning hard- and software in the military context
The electronic brain in today’s smartphone contains a whopping 12 billion transistors, twice more than just 2 years ago. This rate of development is opening up an entirely new set of applications, especially ones that incorporate the brute-force machine learning. This technology is fueling everything from self-driving cars to ‘smart’ IoT devices. In the military field it will enable smart autonomous weapon systems and news ways of mobile communication on the battlefield.
Our keynote speaker Patrick Groeneveld is a technology veteran from Silicon Valley. In this presentation he will present insights on the microelectronics technology and how machine learning works. The combination of those two is currently powering a new revolution. He also will discuss some possibilities for future military use.
