Elke Prinsier

Elke Prinsier is een Belgische klassiek gitariste. Ze startte haar muzikale carrière op achtjarige leeftijd. Alhoewel ze de eerste professionele muzikante in de familie is, kreeg ze de muziekmicrobe toch al van jongs af aan mee. Al snel bleek dat Elke en gitaar een onafscheidelijk duo zouden worden.

Na negen jaar muzieklessen aan de academie in haar thuisstad, Diksmuide, kreeg het idee om deze grote hobby op professioneel niveau verder te zetten steeds meer vorm. Ze nam deel aan verschillende nationale jeugdcompetities en haar eerste zomercursussen. Daarna werd ze met succes toegelaten op het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Gent voor een bachelor uitvoerende muziek onder docenten Johan Fostier en Yves Storms waar ze in 2017 afstudeerde met grootste onderscheiding.

De zoektocht naar een nieuwe uitdaging bracht haar daarna naar Groningen, Nederland om haar masterstudies in de klas van Sabrina Vlaskalic te starten. In Sabrina vond ze een nieuwe muzikale inspiratie en motivatie die haar spel naar nieuwe levels wist te brengen. 

Na het verlies van Sabrina, zet Elke momenteel haar studies verder onder begeleiding van Goran Krivokapic.

Ondertussen lonkt het buitenland opnieuw en in de herfst van academiejaar 2019-2020 kun je haar terugvinden in het Duitse stadje Detmold waar ze aangenomen werd voor een half jaar uitwisseling bij de Canadese Dale Kavanagh.

Ter aanvulling van haar studies nam Elke deel aan tal van masterclasses bij, ondertussen al meer dan 30 verschillende bekende gitaristen, onder wie Zoran Dukic, Aniello Desiderio, Marcin Dylla, Rene Izquierdo en Gabriel Bianco.

Aldo Likafi

Aldo Likafi werd geboren in Piraeus, Griekenland in 1996. Hij begon zijn studies klassieke gitaar op twaalfjarige leeftijd aan het Conservatorium van Paros in de klas van Themis Papadimitriou. In 2017 behaalde hij zijn bachelordiploma met een uitmuntende score bij Costas Cotsiolis. Tegelijkertijd behaalde hij zijn diploma in harmonieleer. Momenteel rond Aldo zijn master af aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium te Groningen in de gitaarklas van Goran Krivokapic.

Aldo speelde al concerten in Griekenland, Nederland en Spanje. Daarnaast viel hij al meermaals in de prijzen op internationale gitaarconcoursen. Zo won hij de eerste prijs op het Arpege Gitaarfestival te Griekenland en de tweede prijs op zowel het Tirana Gitaarfestival in Griekenland en het Gitaarfestival van Palaio Falhro in Albanië.

Aldo nam deel aan masterclasses bij grote gitaristen zoals Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Aniello Desiderio en anderen.

Elke Prinsier

Elke Prinsier is a Belgian classical guitarist. She started playing the guitar at the age of 8. It became soon very clear that this combination was a match made in heaven. After completing nine years of guitar lessons at the music academy at her hometown, continuing her studies on a professional level was a logic next step for her. Elke started her bachelor’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent under the guidance of Johan Fostier and Yves Storms where she graduated in 2017 with highest distinction.

The need for a new challenge brought her to Groningen in the Netherlands to complete her master studies in the guitar class of Sabrina Vlaskalic. In her she found a new musical inspiration and motivation who could bring her musicianship to desired new levels. After the tragic loss of Sabrina, Elke is currently finishing her studies under the guidance of guitar virtuoso Goran Krivokapic.

In the fall semester of 2019, you will find Elke in the German city of Detmold, where she got accepted for an Erasmus exchange with Dale Kavanagh preparing for the coming final graduation exam.

During her years of study, Elke took masterclasses with over 30 well-known and renowned big guitarists, among them Zoran Dukic, Aniello Desiderio, Rene Izquierdo, Raphaella Smits, Antigoni Goni, Gabriel Bianco and Marcin Dylla.

Aldo Likafi

Aldo is an active concert player and had the pleasure to play on stages in Greece, Netherlands and Spain so far. He won several prizes in international guitar competitions such as the first prize in the Arpege Guitar Festival in Kozani, Greece, second prize in the Tirana Guitar Festival in Greece and in the Guitar Festival of Palaio Falhro in Albania.

Aldo had the honor of taking part in masterclasses of distinguished artists such as Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Aniello Desiderio and others.
