In times that call for transformation on so many levels: What is our role as hosts to facilitate change? How can we come together as an Art of Hosting community in the Netherlands to strengthen our capacity to collaborate? <h3></h3><h3>What is the AoH Comeback Day:</h3>This is an opportunity to (re-)connect to fellow Art of Hosting practitioners. It’s a chance to see how others have been practicing the methodologies of the Art of Hosting in diverse fields and a space for those who seek new collaborations to explore topics and issues related to one’s own calling. This will be the 4th AoH Comeback Day organized in the Netherlands, and we aim to make it part of our regular practice.In this Comeback Day, we invite new end old Art of Hosting practitioners, to create a space to enhance our personal and collective AoH practice by having a day full of openness, sharing and collaboration.Our guiding question will take us through the different folds of the practice, in a collective and active reflection about our role, as hosts and facilitators, in our current society. As art of hosting practitioners, as a community that learns and evolves, what are the challenges and opportunities that societal transformation present to us right now? How might we as practitioners host conversations that shape the future we want?<ul><li>We will also explore which conditions make us hesitate as practitioners and facilitators of the transformations we want to see in the world.</li><li>We will take further steps into finding shared-purposes and opportunities to collaborate and exchange, building a stronger community of practice.</li><li>And to explore from our experiences which are the powerful callings that motivate people (and us) to lead and be part of change processes.</li></ul>This program invites all previous participants of Art of Hosting &amp; Participatory Leadership trainings in the Netherlands (since 2003!) that are involved in the Dutch context. We bring together the English and Dutch-speaking communities and create an atmosphere where all are welcome across language, sectors, experience and levels of practice. (The event will be held in English)<h3>Program</h3>10:00-10:30: Arrival &amp; registration10:30 - 11.00: Check-in &amp; starting the day together13:30: Lunch (included in the ticket price)16:00: Check out &amp; closing17:00: End of event<h3></h3><h3>Registration &amp; hosting team</h3>Spaces are limited so please reserve your ticket. We will send a confirmation to all registered participants, and a follow-up with additional information prior to the day. The Comeback Day includes lunch, coffee/tea all day, materials, use of an enabling space with dedicated support and a request of a contribution of €20.00 (incl. VAT and Eventbrite fee) to cover these costs. The design and hosting of this day are being done on a volunteer basis by a small team of enthusiastic practitioners who showed interest at the last Comeback Day. Any additional donation is welcomed in order to support these activities in the long term.We look forward meeting you soon, Your convening and hosting team!<h3>====== ===== ===== ===== ====== ======</h3><h3>FAQs</h3>Who is this Comeback Day for?This program invites all previous participants of Art of Hosting &amp; Participatory Leadership trainings in the Netherlands, or that are currently living and working in the Netherlands/Belgium. The idea behind this day is to reconnect with the local community of practitioners and see what are the activities that are taking place locally.I have never attended an Art of Hosting / Art of Participatory Leadership training, but I still would like to attend. Can I still join?The Comeback Day is designed to (re)connect practitioners that have previously experienced an Art of Hosting/Participatory Leadership training. Therefore this day is only for people that did this training before.I have attended an AOH/AOPL training in another country than the Netherlands/Belgium but I currently live &amp; work there. Can I still attend?Yes! The comeback day aims at bringing together the local community of practitioners, so if you are currently living in one of these countries and you are actively involved with the local communities, you are more than welcome to come and (re)connect with fellow practitionersWill the event be in English or in Dutch?As many of the AoH practitioners currently living in the Netherlands are actually originally from other countries, we decided to have this event in English. There will still be Dutch speaking people attending the event, and they can support with the translation, from time to time, in case it's needed.What can I bring into the event?You can bring a journal to take notes during the day and some snacks to share with fellow AoH practitioners.How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
