Beauty meets Art!

Beauty Tech company Arkive and artspace Atelier Artplaats joined forces for a pop-up from November 24th to 27th. The opening event November 25th and gives you the opportunity to rescue clean beauty products at a reduces price and immerse yourself in artworks by artists with a unique perspective of the world.

Arkive is the pioneer in making the beauty industry circular. When Arkive founder Sinem Tuncer learned that hundreds of millions worth of unconsumed beauty products were becoming the end of life and ended up as waste every year, she knew she had to take action. She discovered that the solution to this problem is making the beauty industry circular, but first giving people the opportunity to rescue products before going to recycling destinations. Sinem dreamed up Arkive initially as a destination to shop for unconsumed beauty products, but Arkive has now grown so much more than this. Together with Claire Granlund the CMO of Arkive the company has completed a phase of rebranding and is ready to re-launch this November.

Atelier Artplaats In a monumental space in Amsterdam-Oost, founders Valerie van Maarschalkervaart and Thomas van der Pol started an art gallery and creative space with a focus on storytelling. Atelier Artplaats is a hybrid space that gives a platform to all kinds of talents and events from exhibitions, music, and a movie screening to wine tastings.

Beauty meets Art is an occasion to bring people that love clean beauty or care products together with art lovers. It's an open space for conversation on how the consumer and brands can be the change-makers. But also why art is relevant and how it has the power to change the world.
