After the success of our first hackathon in 2019, we are back with a new exciting challenge on the 14th and 15th of May 2020! During this intense 24-hour event you can let your creativity go wild and set up a great creative concept for our start-up law firm!

What is a hackathon?

Our Hackathon is an event where marketers, programmers, data-scientists, psychologists creatives, legal students and designers work together to build a great concept. With a team of up to five people you have 24 hours to develop the best concept or product. To make sure you're comfortable and able to tap into those creative juices we've arranged interesting lectures by inspirational speakers and the opportunity to network with peers and industry professionals.

Need a moment to rest your mind? We understand, and we've got you covered. We're supplying food, drinks and snacks so feel free to dig in. Or join fellow hackathon attendees in a round of table tennis or a gaming match. To finish it off: the winners will not go home empty handed –a great first prize!

Your challenge: how would you create the law firm of the future?

Bierens Law is the newest brand of the Bierens Group. It is a start-up law firm focusing on domestic and international trade issues between companies and is offering services such as contracting, dispute resolution, litigation and legal advice.

Well, don’t run away now if you are not a legal student. We are not a typical law firm since we are embracing the potential of technology, marketing and design. We are looking for input from a broad range of disciplines/professions.

We will start this Hackathon by introducing our new law firm properly. Moreover, our services and our vision will be clearly offered to you.

As Bierens Law is still in its initial stage we are open to a broad range of ideas. We are looking for thoughts, campaigns, visuals and concepts to enhance our online business potential. It’s up to you to improve our customer journey or further develop the potential of our service offering.

Can you bring your team members?

A team consists of 4-5 people. You can register individually or together with other people. But we’ll make sure you will part of a dream team!

Location, location, location

The Bierens Challenge will be at the Bierens headquarters in Veghel. There will be a pick-up service available to the office from the central station in Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Tilburg if you decide to come by public transport.

Are you planning to come by car? No problem. We have plenty of parking spaces available.
