With the naked eye we cannot see the world of cells like our own building blocks and bacteria. Fortunately, with a webcam hack, you can make this world visible rather easy. Besides visualising the micro-world, you can also use it to create microbial computer games! Additionally, there is a lot more to investigate with light. During this one-week BioHack course you will build your own microscope, use it to create a microbial computer game and build a photospectrometer to analyse the water quality of the canals.
Monday - introduction, build your own microscope
Tuesday - use your own microscope
Wednesday - biotic gaming
Thursday - DIY photospectrometer (make)
Friday - DIY photospectrometer (use)
Daily from 10:00-17:00
