We are delighted to invite you to the launch of Katinka Lampe's new book: Do You Like Me Now? at Roof-A. The book launch will take place on the 12th of December between 2:30 and 5:00 PM. Due to the current pandemic situation we have decided to split the event into two time slots, the first one from 2:30 till 3:30 PM and the second one from 4:00 till 5:00 PM. Please note that a valid QR code is required to visit ROOF-A.

Do You Like Me Now?

Katinka Lampe’s new book Do You Like Me Now? presents a survey of the artist’s work from the last 20 years. The book includes about hundred images of Lampe’s paintings and includes texts written by Lucette ter Borg, Arielle Kliffer, Anne van der Zwaag, Hester Alberdingk Thijm, Azu Nwagbogu, and Ron Mandos. The book presents a wonderful range of impressions and perspectives on the work of Katinka Lampe.

The Book Launch

The launch of Do You Like Me Now? will take place at ROOF-A, a brand-new cultural venture in Rotterdam, focused on connecting people and culture. They seek to make borders more flexible and open doors with and between artists, museums, galleries, companies, and individuals. Katinka Lampe's book similarly connects worlds, powers and stories. During the book launch, Lobke Broos, the initiator of Roof-A, Ron Mandos and Katinka Lampe will give a short introduction about ROOF-A, Lampe's works and her new book. The event will be concluded by a special dance performance.
