Business Culture Workshop PREP FOR CES

Understanding the (business) culture of a partner, reseller, journalist, investor or customer is vital when doing business. Inspired by The Culture Map we will give you very hands-on tools to prepare yourselves for the encounters with various cultures. You will also be granted 3 months access to an enormous database of cultural information which helps you understand other cultures, and thus improving success rates.

How do you land the meetings at CES with Americans, German or Chinese business partners? How (quickly) do you follow-up your interesting conversations with possible American clients or investors? We'll address all of those questions during an interactive workshop -based on the work of Erin Meyer-, followed by relevant insights on the ever-important topic of Intellectual Property in the USA. A panel of experienced founders (Daniel Gebler from Picnic, Jochem Wijnands from TRVL and Irena Chloé Angelov from Book a Tiger) will share their insights and will discuss the cultural gaps that you should be aware of when doing business internationally.
