Beschrijving

Direct Action Everywhere - Netherlands will be hosting the Utrecht premiere of the highly anticipated documentary Dominion, from the writer & director of Lucent (2014) in collaboration with the producer of Earthlings (2005). The screening will take place in ‘t Hoogt in Utrecht.

Exposing the dark underbelly of modern animal agriculture through drones, hidden & handheld cameras, the feature-length film explores the morality and validity of our dominion over the animal kingdom.

As a capitalist economy is inherently oppressive and destructive, we try to be part of the transition to a gift economy that takes into consideration the interests of everyone. We also believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to watch documentaries as important as Dominion, as the truth should never be hidden behind payment. This is why the tickets of this premiere will be free of charge.

An opportunity to donate will be given after the screening. Net profits will go to Direct Action Everywhere in the Netherlands, which will be used for future campaigns, including additional Dominion screenings.

The tickets will go on sale from the 1st of July. You will be able to order a maximum of 2 tickets per person. If you are not able to attend the screening anymore, please cancel your ticket. Someone else will be able to buy your ticket, so that as many people as possible can attend this unique event.
