This 3-day course will provide you in-depth knowledge about non-invasive brain stimulation, including transcranial ultrasonic stimulation (TUS), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and transcranial electrical stimulation (TES). We will discuss aspects of the stimulation physics, biomechanisms, protocols, study design, confounds, and effects in connectivity, plasticity and circuits.

This course is focused on hands-on training. Educational lectures are pre-recorded and will be made available before the start of the course. Each day will begin with a lecture summarizing the pre-recorded lectures topics of that day, followed by a key-note lecture by an international leader in the field. The afternoons are fully devoted to hands-on training and demos.

You can choose to follow either the beginner or advanced overview track for all three approaches, or go into more depth in either the TMS only or TUS only track. In this workshop, we place a special emphasis on state-of-the-art multimodal techniques, such as TUS-TMS, TMS-EEG, and tACS-fMRI. A full set of hands-on trainings will be made available at a later date.
