This meeting is about creating opportunities for newcomers (refugees and migrants) in the Dutch and European cultural sector. During the network meeting, which is in between two performances, we will talk. A place for people with dreams. We want to inspire, exchange and think further together. How can we offer these young artists, who had to leave their country, room for development and creation? What can we expect from the meetings and collaborations with makers from other countries and cultures and how do we create long-term possibilities and opportunities for these newcomers?
The EU projects FATE and TONE, of which ZID Theater is the main partner, will be briefly introduced. A number of inspiring guests and international partners will be present. Guest speaker is Enkidu Khaled, theatre maker and performer, graduated from DasARts (Amsterdam), known for ‘The Working Method’ and affiliated with Platform 0090 and Kaaitheater (Belgium).
The Real Chance #3 is for individuals and organizations from the cultural, social and educational field: professionals and students, who want to build a network and create opportunities for newcomers (refugees and migrants).
