the 29th of May we are hosting a feminist iftar!*


This event has two parts and we will sell two types of tickets:
A: for the panel discussion
B: for the panel discussion and the dinner

Information part A:
We will start our night with a short panel discussion. Around the question; FEMINST SPACES: are moslims also welcome here?
Our panelists will each give their perspective on this question. Afterwards we will sit in groups and discuss various other questions & statements.

Information for part the dinner(please order ticket B)
We start with the dinner around 10PM
Because we want to make it accesible to everyone and there are many food allergies we decided to do it potluck style! So we ask everyone to bring something to share with others. -We have 20 tickets available for this part
-There will be a possiblity to pray
-It is important to note common allergens for others and please don't bring anything containing peanuts as this is a common (deadly) allergy.
-All food/drinks have to be halal (vegan is a safe option, keep in mind not all cheese is halal)
-If you are unable(financially for example) to bring anything please let us know. We can help out.
-Help us fight plastic and bring your own bowl!

Basic info:
-starts 8:30-10PM for discussion 10-11PM iftar
-Entrance fee: 3 euro's for A, 5 euro's for part B
We use this fee to pay our speakers, materials and drinks.

*Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. Iftar is taken right after Maghrib time, which is around sunset.(wiki)
