Evenementdetails
Beschrijving
Questioning the way people perceive themselves in relation to their space, Paola Amabile and Alberto Fabbian will display a video work showing a series of charcoal masks as expressions of identities. Masks that can be considered as tools that allow to enter the inner world by projecting ones vision of society and conception of the space around us.
The charcoal masks represent the result of Faberhama’s workshop that took place last September 2017 in the City Museum of Ljubljana in the context of the 25th Biennial of Design (BIO25) in Slovenia. The video work is part of "Passage", a wider research under the themes of “transformation and identity” initiated in 2015, which aims to encourage a debate on the existing links among objects, individuals and space.
Faberhama Paola Amabile and Alberto Fabbian are a design duo based in Amsterdam.
