DOUBT | RELATIONSHIPS | EXPECTATIONS | PERFECTION

The expectations are high. As relationship therapist Esther Perel points out, it is incredible what people long from each other. Your partner(s) should be your anchor, your best friend ánd your ardent love as well. What can you expect from love? And what does love expect from you? What is your ideal image within love and how does it relate to the so-called "perfect" image?

Love does not have an unambiguous recipe, but there are ingredients that make the taste. According to the American psychologist Robert Sternberg, a "good love relationship" consists of three dimensions: intimacy, passion and commitment. During this flourishing class we look at these dimensions and discuss them, talk about the background of doubts and ways of finding balance between basic values and desires.

This is a flourishing class of De Kwekerij: an inspiring and interactive workshop where we discuss themes that go beyond daily practice. We offer inspiring theories from interdisciplinary sources, do creative exercises and share personal experiences.

De Kwekerij's activities are meant for all students and young professionals who want to flourish between the ages of 18-35, regardless of background, gender identity or sexual preferences.
