Flowing & Grounding | A Qigong Practice of Gathering, Circulating, Settling Energy and Optional Single-Needle Acupuncture

What does it mean to cultivate Qi in the body? How does energy move between stillness and motion?

This is a guided embodied Qigong workshop exploring Qi through movement, breath, stillness, sound, and optional single-needle acupuncture. Guided by Qigong Sifu and licensed acupuncturist Yiwen, participants experience the body as an energetic landscape shaped by posture, breath, and awareness.

Through the classical Qigong practices of Eight Brocades and Bagua Walking, we explore how Qi is cultivated through structure, circulated through motion, and integrated through stillness and rest. Rather than theory, the workshop focuses on direct bodily experience of flow, grounding, and internal awareness.

The session includes a rest phase with tea, a Golden Gong sound meditation, and optional single-needle acupuncture at Baihui (DU20), supporting relaxation and energetic integration.

The workshop concludes with gentle rest and reflection on balance between movement and stillness, and how Qi may be cultivated in daily life.
