We plakken makkelijk labels op mensen, maar een mens is niet samen te vatten in één woord. Wat zijn de verhalen maar ook de vooroordelen die mensen met ons delen? Want als we ons bewust zijn van de labels, kunnen we ook iets met onze eigen vooroordelen die we bewust en onbewust hebben. En kunnen we elkaar zien voor wie we zijn.

We streven naar een inclusief Fontys. Vanuit het Domein Mens en Maatschappij gaan we in gezamenlijkheid aan de slag met deze missie. Iedereen binnen Fontys en de TU/e kan deelnemen aan een dag met workshops en een spetterend avondprogramma: Het ‘Living Labels’-Theater bij het CKE in Eindhoven. Ook na 4 oktober gaan we verder. Het wordt een jaar vol met workshops, activiteiten en mooie momenten, blijf hiervoor de socials in de gaten houden!

We easily label other people but people cannot be summed up in one word. What are some of the preconceptions but also the stories that people share with us? Because, if we become aware of those labels, we also learn to overcome the preconceptions that we have made both consciously and unconsciously. This enables us to see each other for who we truly are.

We strive for an inclusive Fontys. The Fontys domain People and Society has dedicated itself to taking on this mission. On Tuesday 4 October, during Fontys Diversity Day, everyone within Fontys and the TU/e is welcome to take part in a day filled with workshops and a dazzling evening programme: 'Living Labels'-Theatre at the CKE in Eindhoven.

During the entire day, we will engage in sharing experiences and discussing diversity, inclusion and related topics. In the evening, we invite everyone to join the multidisciplinary programme 'Living Labels'-Theatre in which we address diversity and inclusion through drama, experiences, spoken word, rap and other forms of art, in an interactive way. However our mission won’t stop after 4 October, this upcoming year we will host a plethora of workshops, activities and beautiful moments. Keep an eye on our socials for more information!
