This year Bert van Son from MUD Jeans and Dieuwertje Vorstenbosch from Free Fashion will tell their stories!

Bert van Son is circular hero of 2023, a visionary entrepreneur and advocate of sustainable fashion who is a major contributor to the global fashion industry. His company MUD Jeans is one of the highest scoring B-Corps in the world.

At MUD Jeans, customers can lease high-quality jeans and return them after use, where they are upcycled or recycled into new products. Born with a deep sense of environmental responsibility and a passion for creating positive change, Bert dedicated his career to transforming the way clothing is produced and consumed.

Free Fashion is the newest fashion brand. The name says exactly what it is: you shop clothes completely for free. It is a statement against the fast fashion industry.

According to Free Fashion founder Dieuwertje Vorstenbosch, giving away clothes is the new buying: There is more than enough clothing in the world; we don't need to buy it anymore.

After the stories of Bert and Dieuwertje, BOOST talent will give a short presentation on the possibilities regarding starting your own Student Team, or joining an existing one.

From 16:30 there will be a network drink and information market, student teams will be present here!

During the networking drinks you can connect with fellow student entrepreneurs and meet Student Teams that are recruiting new students for their innovative ideas.
