You’re invited to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The Peace Palace in The Hague is opening its doors for a special edition of Hague Talks on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

"Where do Human Rights begin? In small places, close to home."

Let's celebrate this milestone document! Come and listen to inspiring speakers from around the globe.

  • What more is needed to get human rights accepted, enforced, spread?
  • What can WE do to make Human Rights more universal?

Join us in for a lively dialogue about the roles each one of us can play.

After the event, you're invited to continue the dialogue in our Café de la Paix as the best ideas are over an informal drink.

How to register:

Click on the green button to book your free seat. Please note that the hall has limited capacity, and security is strict at the Peace Palace. Bring your photo ID and come at least 15 minutes early.

When you attend the event, you give your consent for Hague Talks to publish and use photographs and videos taken at the event.

Please share this event via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. We look forward to seeing you there.
