Over dit evenement
Can you write down the three funny things that happened to you today? Studies have shown that by keeping this up everyday you have a higher chance of happiness and alleviating depressive symptoms (Proyer et al., 2014; Wellenzohn,et al., 2018)!
In these extraordinary times, we hope that you have been able to access the support you need and also identify your strengths that help you get through adverse situations.
Now, we want to hear all about your experience! We would like to invite you to participate in our online virtual discussion forum about Happy Habits.
- How can we utilise laughter, humour, pleasure and leisure time to develop resilience?
- How can we keep our motivation to tackle all aspects of our everyday lives?
- What helped you get through recent months?
We realise that the events of Covid-19, along with the current events in Europe, may have had an impact upon everyone’s everyday life, from work and personal life, to health and interpersonal relationships. We know we all can become concerned about how to move forwards and strive to realise our potential.
The Happy Habits project aims at addressing negative experiences caused by recent events, whilst utilising Positive Psychology and other tools to create resources needed to overcome difficult periods or situations. The specific aim of this virtual discussion forum focus group is to identify what hacks and practices you have for a positive outlook and for keeping a ‘glass half full’ mindset.
It is also a great opportunity to stay connected across communities through sharing and discussing your insights into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
