Het is weer bijna Black Friday… en wij zijn er eerlijk gezegd helemaal klaar mee. 😩

De wereld vergaat door hoe we met spullen omgaan. Er zijn simpelweg teveel spullen, en het erge is: de meeste zijn niet eens van goede kwaliteit. Het gaat allang niet meer om het bezitten, maar alleen om het kopen. Mensen hollen van Shein tot Temu en andere fastfashion-giganten, alleen maar om die koopdrang te stillen. Maar kopen maakt je niet vrij van die verslaving – het lost niets op.

Wat wél werkt, is bewust zijn van wat er al is. De spullen en kleding die je al hebt, of die al op de wereld bestaan, zijn waardevol genoeg. Dat is waar wij op focussen. ✨

Doe daarom mee met onze kledingswap! Het is niet alleen duurzaam, het is ook gezellig en persoonlijk – veel leuker dan rennen door een overvolle binnenstad op zoek naar koopjes die je eigenlijk niet nodig hebt. Zo laat je zien dat je waarde hecht aan wat er al is en dat je niet meegaat in de waanzin van constant nieuw kopen.

Samen maken we een statement: minder kopen, meer zorg voor wat er al is. 💛♻️

Nieuw deze editie:
We nemen geen Ultra Fast Fashion kleding meer mee voor de swap. Denk hierbij aan deze merken: Primark, Shein, Boohoo, Temu, Asos en Fashion Nova.

- Ultra Fast Fashion is kleding die in zeer korte tijd geproduceerd wordt, vaak tegen lage kosten en met veel wisselende collecties. Het is meestal goedkoop, laagwaardig en minder duurzaam. Het gaat veel sneller kapot en is vooral gemaakt van polyester stof.-

Door deze kleding niet mee te nemen voor de swap, zorgen we ervoor dat de collectie bij onze swap vol staat met kwaliteitskleding, die langer meegaat en waar iedereen blij van wordt.

De Ultra fast fashion kleding mag je nog wel doneren, maar het telt niet mee voor een swap-punt.

Hoe werkt een kledingswap bij Naaierij?

1. Koop een Ticket.

2. Meld jezelf aan voor een tijdslot via de link in de bestelbevestiging.

Aan het begin van de kaartverkoop zijn alleen de eerste twee tijdsloten beschikbaar. Naarmate er meer kaarten verkocht worden, voegen we steeds een nieuw tijdslot toe! :)

Tijdsloten:

• 11:00 - 11:45
• 11:45 - 12:30
• 13:30 - 14:15
• 14:45 - 15:15
• 15:15 - 16:00

3. Zoek je kleding uit. En kies (minstens) 5 items uit die je wilt inleveren. Zorg ervoor dat het mooie items zijn waar jij ook nog blij van zou worden. Hoe leuker de items zijn die je inlevert, hoe leuker de swap wordt! Zorg dat de kleding schoon is die je meeneemt!

WIJ NEMEN ALLEEN GEWASSEN KLEDING AAN!

NEW EDIT: Aangezien we altijd een overschot aan broeken hebben, lever je per persoon max 2 broeken in.

4. Lever je kleding de weken voor het event in (vrijdag 14 november t/m vrijdag 28 noevmber, check onze openingstijden) Kun je echt niet op deze tijdstippen? Dan kunnen we altijd wat regelen. Na het inleveren krijg je een strippenkaart, neem deze mee naar het event.

5. Kom (samen met een vriendin, vriend, collega, broer, zus) zaterdag 29 november op jouw aangegeven tijdslot naar het event. Waan je in een heerlijke kledingwinkel, want wij hebben alle kleding mooi opgehangen en gestreken.

6. Je past en zoekt 5 items uit om mee naar huis te nemen. Hiervoor kun je je stempelkaart laten aftekenen. Heb je strippen over? Dan kun je die nog bij ons volgende event inleveren.

7. Je gaat blij en voldaan naar huis.

It’s almost Black Friday… and honestly, we’re completely over it. 😩

The world isn’t ruined by a single day, but by how we deal with stuff. There’s simply too much of it, and the worst part is: most of it isn’t even good quality. It’s no longer about owning, it’s just about buying. People rush from Shein to Temu and other fast fashion giants, just to satisfy that urge to shop. But buying doesn’t free you from this addiction – it doesn’t solve anything.

What does work is being mindful of what already exists. The clothes and items you already own, or that are already in the world, are valuable enough. That’s what we focus on. ✨

That’s why we invite you to join our clothing swap! It’s not only sustainable, it’s also cozy and personal – way more fun than rushing through crowded shopping streets looking for deals you don’t really need. By participating, you show that you value what already exists and that you won’t fall for the endless cycle of buying new things.

Together, we make a statement: buy less, care more for what already exists. 💛♻️

New this edition:
We will no longer accept Ultra Fast Fashion clothing for the swap. This includes brands like Primark, Shein, Boohoo, Temu, Asos, and Fashion Nova.

• Ultra Fast Fashion is clothing produced very quickly, often at low cost and with constantly changing collections. It’s usually cheap, low quality, and less sustainable. It wears out quickly and is mostly made from polyester.
• By not accepting this type of clothing, we ensure that our swap collection is full of quality items that last longer and bring joy to everyone.

Ultra Fast Fashion items can still be donated, but they won’t count towards your swap points.

How does a clothing swap at De Naaierij work?

1. Buy a ticket.
2. Sign up for a time slot via the link in your order confirmation. At the start of ticket sales, only the first two time slots are available. As more tickets are sold, new time slots will be added. 🙂

Time slots:

• 11:00 - 11:45
• 11:45 - 12:30
• 13:30 - 14:15
• 14:45 - 15:15
• 15:15 - 16:00

1. Select your clothing. Choose at least 5 items to bring in. Make sure they are nice pieces you’d be happy to wear yourself. The better the items you bring, the better the swap! All clothing must be clean.
   NEW: Since we always have an excess of pants, each person can bring a maximum of 2 pairs of pants.
2. Drop off your items in the weeks before the event (Friday, November 14 – Friday, November 28, check our opening hours). Can’t make it during these times? We can arrange something. After dropping off your clothes, you’ll receive a stamp card – bring this with you to the event.
3. Come to the swap on Saturday, November 29 at your assigned time slot (with a friend, colleague, sibling…). Experience a wonderful clothing store atmosphere – all items are neatly hung and ironed.
4. Try on and choose 5 items to take home. Get your stamp card validated. Any remaining stamps can be used at our next event.
5. Go home happy and satisfied!
